چکیده

Nineteen species of Crinipellis (Basidiomycota, Agaricales) and three species of Moniliophthora (Basidiomycota, Agaricales) are described from Southeast Asia. Thirteen relevant type studies along with excluded and insufficiently known taxa are also included. Five new species and one new form of Crinipellis (C. brunnescens, C. cupreostipes, C. dipterocarpi f. cinnamomea, C. furcata, C. malesiana and C. tabtim), one new species of Moniliophthora (M. marginata) and three formal transfers of species described originally as Crinipellis (Moniliophthora canescens, Moniliophthora nigrilineata and Marasmiellus subochraceus) are proposed here. These are the first distribution reports of Crinipellis and Moniliophthora for Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia and the geographic distributions were expanded for C. actinophora, C. brunneipurpurea, C. dipterocarpi, C. aff. iopus, C. aff. mirabilis, C. setipes and C. trichialis. Phylogenetic analyses of 12 Southeast Asian Crinipellis, three Moniliophthora and six Chaetocalathus species are included using sequence data from the nrDNA ITS region. Comprehensive descriptions for all 36 taxa along with illustrations when available are included in this study.

Molecular phylogeny of Scutellaria (Lamiaceae; Scutellarioideae) in Iranian highlands inferred from nrITS and trnL-F sequences

Scutellaria with about 360 species is one of the largest genera of Lamiaceae. The Iranian highlands accommodate about 40 Scutellaria spp., and is considered as one of the main centers of diversity of the genus. Here, we present a phylogenetic study for 44 species of Scutellaria especially from Iranian highlands, representing major subgeneric taxa, based on nuclear rib...

Molecular Phylogeny ofthe Puntius (Hamilton, 1822) Based on Nuclear Gene RAG2

The tropical Asian cyprinid genus Puntius is a major part of the ichthyofauna in Southeast Asia. Systematic status of the genus Puntius among Cyprinidae, the most prominent freshwater fish all over the world, remain to be substantiated. The molecular phylogenetic analyses derived from Recombination activating genesequences (RAG2) for 35 representative samples of Malaysian Puntius and their alli...

Molecular phylogeny of the family Araceae as inferred from the nuclear ribosomal ITS data

The internal transcribed spacer regions of nuclear ribosomal DNA are widely used to infer phylogenetic relationships in plants. In this study, it was obtained the ITS sequences from 24 samples of Araceae in Iran, representing 3 genera: Arum L., Biarum Schott. and Eminium (Blume) Schott. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted by Bayesian inference and maximum Parsimony methods. Cladistic analysis ...

Molecular phylogeny of Ephippidae (Actinopteri: Acanthuriformes)

The family Ephippidae consists of eight genera and 15 species. The genus Platax with five species distributed throughout Indo-Pacific, seemingly has more diversity than other genera of the family. Phylogenetic relationships among species and genera of the family, however, are not fully resolved. 48 sequences of eight species (four genera) of batfishes are available in the GenBank and have been ...

Genetic diversity of Arum L. based on plastid marker

TrnL-F region including intron trnL (UAA) and trnL (UAA) - trn (GAA) spacer in the large single-copy region of the chloroplast genome is widely used to infer phylogenetic relationships in plants. In this study, we obtained the trnL-F sequences from 8 samples of Arum L. in Iran. Phylogenetic analyses were conducted by the Bayesian inference, maximum parsimony, and maximum likelihood methods. The...
